This is the website for the Dublin Hub Innovation Studios, a flexible working space for startups, social entrepreneurs and creative businesses to come together to share ideas, experiences and resources, to participate in and build a new way of thinking about working.

The Dublin Hub Innovation Studios offer flexible, hosted, open office space to small businesses, social entrepreneurs, freelancers, sole traders with a business – or a business idea – and a need for work without the waste. We provide a space for you to work in, you pay only for what you use and you get your working freedom back: freedom from expensive office rental, freedom from the confinement of the spare bedroom, freedom from meetings in soulless hotel lobbies. As a Hub Member, you purchase your working time in advance, and you book a desk or a meeting room at a time and for a duration that suits you. It’s your work fitted into your life, not your life fitted into your work.

To make this happen, we’re building a community of socially and environmentally aware innovators, inventors, explorers and designers of the future, a network of entrepreneurs for the planet. People who share our vision of a better managed, better resourced, better quality world for all; people who are willing to share their ideas, experiences and knowledge to create that world.

A New Way of Working

This project is rooted in the belief that to deal intelligently with the enormous challenges of climate change, resource depletion, environmental and social degradation we need to change our way of working. It is no longer viable to conduct business in a manner that ignores the impact of our actions on the local, regional and global environment.

We believe that working needs to adapt to a world that is changing rapidly and unpredictably, that working achieves more when we work with our surroundings rather than despite or against. We believe that working needs to fit into our lives, not the other way round. We encourage collaboration, cooperation, community; we foster knowledge sharing and the fruitful exchange of ideas and experiences. We want to show that working can be creative, productive, and imaginative without sacrificing or squandering natural resources or social interaction.

We base our model on the Hub in London, UK; we aim to provide a unique service to small businesses and organisations who show real commitment to the principles of sustainability. We provide office space, meeting and event space on a pay-as-you-go basis, so you can fit your working life around your family or your personal commitments; we foster the creation of a community of kindred spirits who share our values and ideals.  The Hub Dublin is more than a desk provider; we empower our members to collaborate, cooperate, share and grow.
